Photo Contest Rules
By entering the user photo contest you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility
This contest is open only to current or past patients of VisionPro who are at least 18 years of age. Employees of VisionPro, their immediate family members, and any affiliates are not eligible to participate.
2. Photo Requirements
Each participant must submit an original photo of themselves wearing their favorite pair of glasses or sunglasses. The glasses or sunglasses do not need to be purchased from VisionPro. Other people may be in the photo but the photograph must clearly show the entrant wearing eyewear. Photo filters and enhancements are permitted, but the entry must comply with all content guidelines. Any submission deemed offensive, suggestive, or inappropriate, at VisionPro’s sole discretion, will be disqualified.
3. Entry Limitations
Each participant is allowed to submit only one photo during the contest period. Multiple entries from the same individual will result in disqualification.
4. Voting Process
Voting is open to the public, and each individual may cast only one vote per entry during the contest period. Any attempt to manipulate or fraudulently influence the voting process, including but not limited to the use of bots or automated voting systems, will result in immediate disqualification of the entrant.
5. Prizes
The contest offers the following prizes:
– 1st Prize: A pair of fashion sunglasses valued up to $500.
– 2nd Prize: A pair of fashion sunglasses valued up to $300.
– 3rd Prize: A $100 in-store voucher at VisionPro.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. VisionPro reserves the right to substitute the prize with an equivalent item if the original is unavailable. Prizes can only be redeemed on-site within any VisionPro eye care practice location.
6. Promotion & Sharing
There are no requirements to use hashtags or tags when sharing entries on social media. However, entrants are encouraged to share their photo submissions on their personal social media profiles to gather votes and increase their chances of winning.
7. Contest Duration
The contest will run until the designated contest closing date. No entries or votes will be accepted after the contest closing date.
8. Winner Notification
Winners will be notified via the email address provided during entry (or by phone if supplied) within seven (7) days after the contest concludes. The winners may also be announced on VisionPros social media accounts. Winners must claim their prize within one (1) month of notification. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected.
9. Disqualification
VisionPro reserves the right to disqualify and remove any entrant who violates the contest rules, including submitting multiple entries or engaging in fraudulent voting practices.
10. Privacy & Use of Photos
VisionPro will not share any photos with third parties nor use submitted photos for promotional purposes unless the entrant becomes a prize winner. In such a case, the winner’s acceptance of the prize constitutes consent for VisionPro to use the submitted photo for advertising and promotional purposes, unless prohibited by law.
11. Contest Void Where Prohibited
This contest is void where prohibited by law. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
12. Intellectual Property Rights
By submitting a photo to the contest, entrants represent and warrant that their entry is an original work of authorship and does not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. If the submitted entry is found to infringe upon another’s intellectual property rights, the entrant will be disqualified. The entrant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold VisionPro harmless from any claims arising from such infringement.
13. Terms & Conditions
VisionPro reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the contest in the event of any cause beyond its control that affects the fairness or proper conduct of the contest. VisionPro also reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or violates these official rules.
14. Limitation of Liability
By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless VisionPro, its affiliates, and employees from any liability arising from participation in the contest, including but not limited to claims of injury, death, loss, or damage related to participation or the use of any awarded prize.
15. Disputes
This contest is governed by the laws of the state of Victoria, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or related to this contest shall be resolved exclusively by the courts located in Melbourne, Victoria. Participants waive all rights to punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including attorney’s fees.
16. Privacy Policy
Personal information collected from participants is subject to VisionPro’s privacy policy, which can be viewed at VisionPro’s Privacy Policy (https://www.visionpros.com.au/privacy/). All user data will be treated in accordance with VisionPro’s Privacy Policy.

18. No Cash Substitution
No cash or other prize substitutions are allowed, except at the discretion of VisionPro. All prize-related expenses, including taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for VisionPro to use the winner’s name and the submitted photo for advertising and promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
19. Prohibited Voting Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
a. Use of bots, programs, or other electronic devices to vote more than once per person.
b. Offering anything of value in exchange for votes.
c. Soliciting votes from websites or groups dedicated to garnering contest votes.
Any entrant engaging in these activities will be disqualified, and suspicious votes will not be counted at VisionPro’s sole discretion.
20. Final Decision
VisionPro is the sole arbiter of the rules, entrants, conditions, and winners of the contest. All decisions made by VisionPro regarding the contest are final.
